This page explains what you may do with footage and images you find in ReelCut. It supplements our Terms of Service. When sources differ, the stricter rule applies to that clip.
ReelCut is software: search, preview, download, and use clips inside projects you build here (including MP4 exports and editor draft packages). We grant licenses described below; we do not sell raw stock files as a standalone product.
Clips labeled “Library” in the product (including results from semantic search and “Latest”) come from He Junhong's own catalog that we operate for the Service.
We grant you a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use these Library clips in video and image projects you create with the Service, including commercial use (YouTube, social ads, client deliverables, paid courses, etc.), subject to your plan limits and this policy.
You may edit, crop, color-grade, and combine Library clips with your script, voiceover, and other lawful media in finished works.
You may not redistribute or resell Library clip files as stock footage; offer them for download outside your project; use them in a competing clip marketplace or API; or remove embedded rights metadata where shown.
Clips labeled “Stock” (including Pexels results) are third-party content. Your use is governed by the Pexels License (https://www.pexels.com/license/) and any notice shown on the clip.
Commercial use is generally allowed under Pexels’ terms, with restrictions (for example, you must not sell unaltered copies as stock). Always read the current third-party license before publishing.
ReelCut does not transfer copyright in Stock clips to you; we provide search and access as part of the Service.
Media you upload remains yours. You must have all rights needed for us to process it and for you to publish exports that include it.
We do not grant other users rights in your uploads.
Voice synthesis and AI-generated elements in your project may have separate provider terms. You are responsible for disclosure and platform rules (synthetic media labels, ad policies, etc.).
If you add your own music or fonts to an export, you must clear those rights separately.
Search, download, and render limits depend on your plan and in-product fair-use rules. Abuse (bulk scraping, automated re-download for redistribution) violates our Acceptable Use Policy and may lead to suspension.
