These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ReelCut (the "Service") operated by He Junhong ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
ReelCut is a cloud software product that helps you turn text scripts into video projects by splitting scenes, matching stock or licensed footage, generating voiceover, and exporting cloud-rendered MP4 files or editor draft packages.
The Service uses artificial intelligence and third-party media APIs. Output quality and availability depend on your inputs, selected assets, and system load. We do not guarantee that any export will meet a particular creative, legal, or platform standard.
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account.
You must provide accurate registration information. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.
Certain actions (such as storyboarding, voice synthesis, search, and cloud rendering) consume credits or are subject to fair-use limits shown in the product. Free tiers may change; paid plans will be described on our Pricing page when available.
Paid subscriptions and one-time purchases, when offered, are processed by our Merchant of Record partner Creem (see creem.io). Creem collects payment, applicable taxes, and handles refund and chargeback processes as described in our Refund Policy. Your contractual seller for those transactions is Creem as merchant of record; we remain the provider of the Service.
If pricing is shown as credits, credits are consumed when a billable action completes successfully unless we state otherwise. Unused credits may expire according to the plan shown at checkout. We may switch between credit-based and usage-based metering as we finalize plans; we will update the Pricing page before charging new customers under a new model.
You retain ownership of scripts and other materials you upload. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transform, and transmit your content solely to operate the Service (including AI processing, storage, rendering, and support).
You represent that you have all rights necessary for your content and that your use does not infringe third-party rights. You are solely responsible for clearing music, likeness, trademark, and news footage rights for published videos.
AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your use case. You must review exports before publication. We do not provide legal advice regarding deepfakes, impersonation, or platform policies (YouTube, TikTok, Meta, etc.).
You must disclose synthetic or AI-generated media where required by law or platform rules.
The Service must not be used to create, request, or export sexually explicit, pornographic, or other adult/NSFW content. We operate automated content screening on user scripts and may block generation or exports that violate this rule.
Your use must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. Prohibited uses include illegal content, child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, sexually explicit or pornographic (adult/NSFW) content in any upload, AI generation, or export, fraud, malware, and harassment.
The Service integrates third-party providers (hosting, AI, stock media, payment). Their terms may apply to portions of the Service. We are not responsible for third-party outages beyond our reasonable control.
ReelCut is an independent product. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google, Alibaba, ByteDance, CapCut, OpenAI, MiniMax, or other underlying model or platform vendors. Where we integrate third-party AI, speech, or media APIs, those names describe integrations only, not our brand.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HE JUNHONG WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, risk, or discontinuation of the product. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; export links may expire according to storage policies.
These Terms are governed by the laws of People's Republic of China, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.
